# Your landlords’ tax is going quarterly.
Be the agent who told them first.

Rent statements go out monthly. From 6 April 2027, HMRC wants an update every quarter from any landlord whose share of gross rent – plus any self-employed income – was over £30,000 in 2025/26. Most will find out in January, while filing their tax return. The first person they ask is usually you.

- No cost to you or your landlords
- You never give tax advice – we introduce qualified accountants
- Landlords’ details are only ever shared with their consent

## One agency, hundreds of landlords, one simple message.

Both are free. Your landlords get a plain-English answer and a route to an accountant – and you don’t have to become a tax expert.

### Co-branded MTD guide

Our free Making Tax Digital guide with your logo on the cover and a page about your agency. Send it with rent statements, in your newsletter or at tenancy renewals.

- Your logo and contact details on the cover
- Plain English, updated after every Budget
- Links to the landlord check with your agency code
- See how many landlords used it

### MTD check for your website

Add our 60-second “Am I affected?” check to your landlord pages, newsletter or portal. Landlords get an instant answer without you fielding the questions.

- A ready-made link and short text for your landlord pages
- A monthly count of landlords who used it (never contact details)
- No cost, no contract, stop any time
- Works alongside the co-branded guide

## Send it in November, not in April.

The £30,000 group realises it’s in scope while filing the 2025/26 tax return, due 31 January 2027. That makes November 2026 to March 2027 the moment your landlords are listening.

**28 October 2026:** Autumn Budget. Any change to thresholds or dates is announced – expect questions.

**7 November 2026:** Q2 update due for landlords already over £50,000. A timely reminder shows you’re on top of it.

**Nov 2026 – Mar 2027:** Peak season. Landlords file in January and find out they’re in. Send the guide before Christmas.

**6 April 2027:** MTD starts for £30,000+. Their first quarter runs to 5 July; the first update is due 7 August 2027.

## Three steps, no paperwork for your team.

### We set you up

You get your co-branded guide and a link ending in ?ref=YOURCODE, so you can see how many landlords used it.

### You share it

In rent statements, newsletters, renewal emails or your landlord portal – wherever your landlords already hear from you.

### Landlords choose

They check where they stand and, if they want, get quotes from up to 3 qualified accountants. You get a monthly statement.

## The short version

Free for you and your landlords. No contract – stop whenever you like.

### What you agree to

You don’t give tax advice or tell landlords which accountant to use – we introduce, they choose. You only share the link through channels your landlords already expect to hear from you on, in line with UK GDPR and PECR.

### Do you share landlords’ details with us?

No. You see how many landlords used your link and how many asked for quotes – never names, emails or phone numbers.

### What does it cost?

Nothing, for you or your landlords. Accountants pay us when a landlord chooses to be introduced to them – that’s how the service stays free.

### Some of our landlords are companies. Does MTD apply?

No – MTD for Income Tax covers individuals, not limited companies. Our check tells them so straight away. Joint owners each count their own share of the rent.

### Can we stop?

Yes, at any time, by email.
